  3. What a wonderful weekend. Love your pics. Love a coffee date. Since becoming a mum I don't think I will ever take for granted something as simple as a café visit with great coffee and cake again. xo

  5. It looks like you had a wonderful weekend Jennifer. Doesn't your sweet little girl look like you. How lovely to use your own apple wood, it looks great. Winter weeding is on my list of things to do, yesterday I noticed that they appear to be growing again. I'm often struck with your "out and about" pictures how much space there seems to be in your town. It has a lovely open feel to it, I really like what I've seen so far.

  15. That looks like my kind of weekend, Jennifer. Full yet relaxed. It's been pretty much the same here too. But without the hand stitching. Olly has discovered dinosaurs, and Alfie has been trying to teach him the names. I predict dino based crafting this week.

  21. Such a fun post, full of colour and warmth and sunshine. I think I've been hanging around my husband for too long, as the workbench photo really made me sit up and take notice. Thanks for identifying the wood! :D

The quilt looks very sunshiny and cheerful, and I love the shot of your little guy reading.

  27. Chickens? Are you going to get chickens? That would be so cool! Fried rice...yum. I have leftover pork loin (shredded) and leftover brown rice...I'm going to make a batch of fried rice today for Tim using these ingredients. It's so easy to put in a freezer bag and give to him next time I see him - and then he has a quick, homemade meal!
